Reading Festival and National Storytelling Days (Nationale Voorleesdagen)

You can read everywhere: at home, at school and at the library!

Funny, exciting, and wonderful stories trigger our imagination. Listening to stories helps develop language and vocabulary. And storytelling and listening to stories is also just a lot of fun!

January 21st marks the start of the National Storytelling days and we will read aloud, play games, and do crafts! The Gruffalo ‘big books’, handpuppets and other materials will bring the stories to life. Books in other languages will also be available.

After the storytelling activity, we will play games and do crafts. The materials, games and books and other languages will be available for you to try out or to read with your parents.

All participating children will be gifted a beautiful storybook so that they can also enjoy the pleasure of reading at home!
