Summer Reading Festival

We have launched a new project to further our mission of encouraging the joy of reading in children around the world. Recently we received 30,000 books donated by the publisher Lemniscaat! These books are a treasure waiting to find their way into the hands of children who deserve the joy of reading. We need your help to make this happen!

We will focus on Ghana, Gambia, Uganda and St. Maarten, where we will organise reading festivals. At the end of the reading fair, each child attending will receive their own book to take home.

To send these books and organize the reading festivals, we still need €75,000. That’s only €2.50 per book! Scan the QR code or click on the link and donate today. How many children do you help?

Prefer to volunteer? On March 15, you can volunteer to prepare the shipment of books for the festivals! Sign up via info@biblionef.org.

By supporting this initiative, you’re directly contributing to United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn and thrive through the joy of reading.

Your donation also aligns with UN SDG 10 (Reduced Inequality) by breaking down barriers and providing equal access to education.

Furthermore, it’s not just about the individual impact. By joining forces and donating, you’re embodying the spirit of UN SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Together, we can create a collective force that transcends borders, making a tangible difference in the lives of these children.
